Life has mostly been studying for finals, working, and metroid prime - not necessarily in that order.
Last nite was the MGL 2: Aftermath tournament. Although it was in milpitas (hella deep from sac!) and started rather late (freestyle STARTED at 10.30 pm!) it was one of the funnest tourneys i have been to. There were SO many quality routines! Freestyle was very entertaining. oh yeah, and i won first place. ^_^ Two in a row!! i guess im on a roll......i really didn't expect such an outstanding crowd reaction to the Peter Parker Insertion edit........i didn't make the routine with the intention to win, i just wanted to relax and have fun. i can't wait to see the vid....im sure i will find a lot of mistakes just like all my other routines. I never seem to do exactly what i intend. but the important part is that the crowd enjoyed the performance. for that i am thankful! :)
Sometimes i wonder how long this DDR thing is going to go.....how long will i be able to come up with hot routines that win tourneys....if i could ever catch up with DJ 8 ball's record.......i haven't set a long term goal like that for DDR, and quite frankly i am afraid to. If i take this thing too seriously, my routines might lose their energy and spontenaiety. or even worse, i become an arrogant prick and believe that i don't have any competition in the world. i dunno. maybe im just worried about the Cyberbeat tourney in L.A. im afraid it will turn out like CVGL; i will spend HOURS on a routine, polish it up, and be so focused on what place i get that i don't have fun. Lots of folks have told me that my CVGL routine was the greatest i've done, but the only good time i had was after the tourney at Carrows. At that moment, i told myself that i would never again let my experience be ruined by a judges score. and that still holds. However, Cyberbeat will be the proving grounds, and may decide who get's declared the best freestyler of the era. There will be competition from norcal, socal, and midwest. Not to mention that the first prize is an entire DDR machine. INTENSE.
Then again, its just a game, right?

wow. Its been a looooooong time since i updated this thing. Lets see.......Work is crazy. School is horrible. My spirituality is a mess. My mental situation is questionable.

I bought Metroid Prime. YES.
i made "hard pads" using some soft pads and wood. They work great. YES.
i just made my routine to Insertion. my first routine with an edit. YES.
I am not a christain anymore. ???
