Finally, the store is getting busier. Not by much, but it is somethin.

jeez, has work been consuming me. I can't wait till the holidays are over. Then i won't be having dreams about scheduling conflicts and net sales.

Outside of work, there isn't much productivity going on. Watching anime here, reading manga there, and playing the hell out of Naruto 2 for Gamecube (that's right, i got the import). 4 player fighting game madness.

Looks like they captured the "evil villian" Saddam. I hope this doesn't mean our non-president gets "re" elected to office. The social reality in America moves ever closer to Orwell's vision in 1984..........

Scary.

:: PRODUCTIVE DAY? ::

Man, has it been a while since i have wrote anything in this space. My time has been occupied, but not watefully so. Work takes up a large part of it, of course, And lately i have had to camp out at the DMV to pay car registration, run around to get car insurance, get some bills paid, yada yada yada. This all seems simple enough, but its harder to do when the hours you work are the hours those places are open. >.<

Anyway, yesterday was pretty sweet. A weekday off. WOW. i woke up early, began the "great reconstruction" of my room (basically a fancy way of saying "what do i do with all these clothes?"); got some breakfast which mainly composed of animal and croissant; played some Beyond Good and Evil (not the Neitzsche book, the Xbox game); built two arcade joysticks; cleaned the bathroom; fixed a PS2 (1 out of 3 ain't bad); ordered some checks from the bank......and that's it.

There was an incredible sense of urgency to the day. My mind is swirling with ideas and tasks, my imagination is going crazy - probably because of Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and through it all....i feel like i am becoming a less interesting person. Since this job - especially since becoming manager - my life has seemingly become one large task list.

At least yesterday the task list was of my own creation.
