::ON THE EAST::
Thusly goes my trip on the east so far:

2pm

Both of my planes were late, due to the terrorist attacks that happened in Madrid the day before. Increased security checks, etc. Flights were cool - mostly slept and read various books, like Hellboy.

Phrase: "Hellboy is tight."

1am

So, i arrive in Baltimore at BWI airport. after claiming my baggage and taking a shuttle to the rental car area (it was pretty far from the actual airport), i went to rent a car. Evidently, none of the rental car places took cash at that hour. Not one to give up easy, i decided to rent a car from Alamo for one day using the limited balance on my check card - that way i could get to see my bros, bring the car back to a location in Philly the next day, and rent a vehicle for the rest of the trip at a time when i can pay cash.

Phrase: "Silly me."

3am

I left BWI to go to Jersey. Got in contact with my bro Rasheed, met him in Sicklerville (where he lives) around 5 in da mornin...we just went back to his place and talked it up, catching each other up on the events in our respetive lives. We just hung out until just before Sheed had to go to work. Hangin with Sheed reminded me about how much i miss the east. How much i miss my bros...and how much i have missed by moving away. I followed Sheed to his job, and my bro Tyson met us there. About this time, i figured i should take care of the car situation.

Phrase: "Muhfucka!"

2pm

I called around to local Alamo locations, and they said i would have to talk to Baltimore about the drop off. So i call Baltimore, and i find out that i have to take the car back to their location since i paid with a debit card. I convinced Tyson to roll with me, and 2 hours later we were at the BWI rental car area. The car got returned, and i went in to rent another vehicle since they accepted cash at this time of day (4pm). Guess what? in order to pay for the rental car in cash, i would have to have a paystub/utility bill and 2 forms of identification with matching address.

I don't know about you, but i don't bring paystubs on vacation. i had 700 bucks in cash, a visa check card with 120 bucks on it, a driver's license, social security card, airline itenerary, and check book - and i couldn't get a car AT ALL.

Phrase: "I need a credit card."

6pm

Any way, we now find our heroes without transportation in Baltimore. So we improvise. A shuttle to BWI airport, a taxi to Baltimore greyhound, and a bus to Philly later, we get picked up by Tyson's dad at 11pm. From there we pick up a few more bros (Rogev and Rey), head back to Jersey, and THEN to Lincoln.

Phrase: "Did i forget to mention that i haven't slept since i got here?"

1am

Ah, Dear Lincoln, to thee i'll ever be true....

The entire campus is being ripped to pieces. The fields of grass that i remember are now replaced by upturned mud and bulldozers...i suppose renovation is good - but the whole damn campus at once? It's like one huge construction site. Anyway, i meet some of the bros that went over after i left; Yaron, Larone, Brian, Alfred, Paul, they are all really coo. Saw some of the new swings as well...they were pretty nice, but there seems to be a lot of drama between the on campus grooves and swings out here...

Phrase: "Lets play some marvel, dog!"

5am

After a few matches of Marvel 2 with my new found soul brotha Brian, i fell dead asleep on Larone's bed.

Phrase: ...

10:30am

Wake up!

Tyson is nowhere to be found, so Rogev, Rey, Alfred and i go to the cafe and pick up some food...meet some more folks, walk around campus. We finally find Tyson, then head back to Jersey...

Phrase:"Where the hell - no wait. What the fuck - no wait. Where the hell fuck were you?"

3pm

on the road, (commodore berry bridge to be exact) the car starts to shake...

BOOM!

Front tire BLEW OUT!! DAAAYUM!!
We push the car across the bridge, pull it over, and struggle with the tire whose nuts had rusted tight.

After some entertaing jokes about nuts and lubrication, we replaced the tire and completed the journey to jersey. Met up with Sheed again, got somethin to eat at Uno's pizza, and then it was back to Philly to take Rogev and Rey home.

Phrase: "Man, God be pledgin us"

7pm

Accompany Tyson to his Chem lab where he researches so he can pick up a few resources for his paper tonight. Went to Wawa. (east coast 7eleven type store that serves hoagies 24/7 - YES!) Back to Jersey to finally "be still", as Tyson's mom puts it. :)

Phrase: "No one lives in north Sac...its to close to the dicks."

I wonder what's gonna happen tomorrow?

I am on the East Coast from March 12 - 22. Prepare for da madness!

I'll be coming into BWI around 11:50pm on the 12th, then i plan to rent a car and see everybody.
